ABOUT ME

My name is Taiyo Iwazaki, and I’m a photographer and videographer based in the San Diego area. Over the years, I’ve worked on a wide range of projects, from filming high school sports events and creating promotional content for my school to capturing cultural performances that showcase the richness of diversity. I’ve always been drawn to how visual media can tell a story and evoke emotion, whether it’s the energy of a football game or the vibrant colors of a dance show.

What started in sixth grade as a simple hobby—creating Roblox videos that surprisingly reached 9,000 views—has since grown into a deep passion for videography. I’m now not only documenting moments but also crafting narratives that connect with people. From freelance gigs shooting grad parties and athletic events to managing my school’s social media platforms as ASB Media Executive, I’ve had the opportunity to develop a creative style that blends storytelling with attention to detail. My goal is always the same: to engage viewers and leave a lasting impression, no matter the project.
